Social Development - Strategy and Reach

Social Development Strategy

BJS strategizes to elevate personal issues / family problems from the individual domain to a social platform. There is a conscious effort to gear up community activities to address social issues and instead of making these activities event oriented, create a mass movement from these activities. BJS through its decentralized network of volunteers possessing a strong sense of ownership and with a judicious mix of "professionalism" and "activism" gathers input for identifying issues and concerns, devising suitable solutions, rolling them out as pilot at the wide-spread grass root level, and gathering feedback for refinement of solutions and scaling up implementation for wider society. BJS focuses on creating programs at various levels so as to cover entire family through different interventions providing vital social, educational and career inputs at critical milestones in life.

Social Development Reach

BJS social programs are research based, conducted by experts and implemented in collaboration with local BJS office bearers. Most of the programs are technology based. The programs are widely publicized & promoted to ensure maximum possible participation, and wide-spread benefits to be reaped from these programs. Programs are developed to fulfill the need of the individual, the family, & the society at large. Each of the programs is designed for & focused on target participant group who can derive maximum gain out of these. Every activity has its own eligibility criteria for participation. Not only members of the Jain community from all across India & abroad, but also other segments including Educational Institutions & social organizations come forward to implement these programs.
